When purchasing slats, I took into account 4wall and a seller from another website. After ordering samples, I decided to choose 4wall, mainly because another seller did not provide a telephone contact, so I was afraid of communication problems and I was pressed for time. The choice based on the samples was very similar, although in the end I chose oak veneer, which was not available elsewhere. Due to the fact that my "project" concerned a wall with 2 doors, I ordered felt and slats separately because I had to individually and precisely select the width of the spaces between the slats. The felt is of very good quality, what slightly surprised me is the fact that the felt is slightly deformed (flattened) along the edges, probably due to mechanical cutting. Therefore, after gluing two sheets next to each other, the joining line is clearly visible. I made various cuts and this does not occur with edges cut by hand with a knife. Therefore, you need to plan so that the slats cover the cutting lines. I consider it a feature, not a flaw. In the next round, I ordered slats. What was not visible in the samples is that veneer is a rather "raw" material, which is an advantage for me. When ordering, the seller claimed that nothing needed to be done to these panels. Indeed, the material has its own charm, I do not plan to varnish it, but it must be admitted that light smoothing with fine paper definitely won't hurt. The slats came in two packages, unfortunately it turned out that some of the slats were damaged during transport. I filed a complaint immediately. And due to the complaint processing, I am lowering the rating. At no time did I receive an e-mail confirmation of its receipt. After repeated telephone contact and reminders, the company finally confirmed that it would send new slats. It was just before the holidays and I received a strong recommendation to wait with shipping until after the holidays - due to disruptions in courier shipments. Even though I wanted to finish the project before Christmas, I agreed to it. I placed my first order (for felt and samples) on November 28, and I received the last slats (from a complaint) only on December 29. Ultimately, I am very pleased with the result. I achieved exactly what I wanted by "hiding" 2 doors, with the only visible element being the upper edge of the upper door. I managed to make a lamp out of waste, not very beautiful, but it works as a temporary product :-) Ultimately, I recommend the company and the products, but there are a few elements that I have described that need to be corrected.
